We are delighted to announce to all of our customers that we have relocated to a new office premises just on the outskirts of Stanley. Moving to a new location will allow our team to continue to provide high-quality IT support to our valued customers and to those who will join us as we expand into Durham.

The Greenhouse is part of the environmental and regeneration charity Groundwork NE & Cumbria. As well as our office being in a prime location, the building includes unique sustainable features throughout, making it even more of a fabulous place to work and have our office.

There is a wide range of natural flora and fauna surrounding the amazing landscape which helps to promote biodiversity. Within the building there are features such as geo-thermal heating and cooling systems that have been designed to make the most of natural resources whilst enhancing the local area. Plus, an added bonus is that there is a 50-metre-high wind turbine that generates all the electricity for The Greenhouse.

Surrounding the building there are many unusual features that make The Greenhouse so unique. Features include artistic elements, the lake, dry stone walling and willow weaving, a cycle path and the Greencroft Woodland.

We are also thrilled that now we have moved offices that we are offering our services to the Durham area too. We look forward to welcoming our current customers and new customers to our office.

I think we can all agree this year has been like no other… That’s why we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our clients for your support throughout 2020.
Due to this support, we have been able to keep doing what we love and assisting businesses across the North East and further afield with IT Management.

We have been doing our part to help this year by allowing Gosforth Church to hold their very first virtual wedding and many more services to come, as well as ensuring all the electrical equipment at Newcastle Castle was PAT Tested and safe ready for the reopening of their doors.

Supporting Newcastle Castle Throughout The Pandemic

At Pentagon Computer Solutions we take great pride in supporting the local community, especially during these unprecedented times. That’s why we recently carried out some voluntary work at Newcastle Castle.

Located in the heart of the city, Newcastle Castle is a medieval fort that was built in 1080. Like many attractions this year they have felt the effects of the pandemic and with the introduction of the tier systems it meant they have been unable to re-open.
We have been proud to work with this prestigious North East landmark in the past and have created a fantastic working relationship with Chief Executive Officer Ben Smith

To offer our support the Pentagon team visited and carried out PAT Testing ensuring all equipment was checked and safe ready for when they can open their gates again.

We headed to The Castle Keep and Black Gate to carry out the testing and as the building is Grade 1 listed, we made sure to plan in advance to ensure any work being carried out would not cause any disruption to the castle’s structure.
During our visit we were lucky enough to participate in a photoshoot outlining the process which will be used in the Castle’s newsletter.
